From the February meeting:
Opening Prayer: Bill Sparks
Meeting called to order at 7:10 p.m.
Attendance: Roy & Joy McGrew, Bill & Lacey Sparks, Fred Bell, Dan Sheppard, John & Chris Carpenter
Treasurer's Report read by Fred Bell and accepted
Correspondence: Lacey Sparks agreed to send thank-you notes to our sponsors supporting the concert.
Old Business:
1. P.R. report: Bill Sparks presented the video that would be used for PSA spots. Everyone agreed it was well presented.
2. Lacey had concert ads put in church bulletins.
3. Several free promotional tickets were donated to radio and tv stations (KEDT, KLUX, etc)
4. Still no contact from Bennigan's or Delta Airlines for the raffle.
5. Roy & Joy McGrew agreed to sell concert merchandise during intermission and Chris & Lacey would sell tickets at the door. The C.C. Symphony graciously agreed to donate the piano. Thanks to all involved. The performers will be held at the Omni Hotel.
New Business:
1. Machen-Lear did a good job with the PSA's.
2. Lacey & Chris will attend the Caller Times luncheon to promote non-profit organizations. Chris agreed to do the cooking demonstration in March for Heritage Park.
3. Lacey will send out membership forms and a quarterly newsletter after the St. Patrick Day celebration.
4. Monsignor Higgins may not be able to emcee the concert, so an alternate will be sought.
5. Dan Sheppard gave a short presentation of what to anticipate from the pre-show with the "Waters Edge P/D" and Inishfree Dancers.
